I've developed this blog to provide an area for people to discuss items related to the world of art and the teaching of art. Just like everything else in the world, art is going through many changes. One of the biggest things that is changing is the adaptation of technology to create art. Many artists are using technology. I will discuss items related to this or other items I may find important. I will also share technology tools that I find useful to other areas as well.

United Streaming

United Streaming (Education)

The AEA's of Iowa give teachers access to United Streaming, which allows teachers to view movies right from the Internet (also able to download from Internet). I've used a view art related movies that are posted on this site. The only thing that I find to be a negative factor is that I feel as though they aren't keeping up with time on the movie selections. I wish there were more movies available that relate to art in the 21st century. This tool can be used for any classes, because they have a variety of subject areas. Hopefully, they will keep moving along to get movies from PBS and other educational videos on the web quicker!!!
