What is art to me?

The question always comes up about what art is and many people will have debates on this topic. I however just have a basic view on what art is. Art to me is anything that is made around you. Some art is considered to also be a craft. A craft can be considered art and vise versus. People will argue with me that not everything is art, but the truth is everything is related to art. Someone designed the chair you are sitting on, the room you are sitting in, the car you drive to work, the book you read before bed, the newspaper you read while drinking coffee in the morning, etc.

So the next time you get in a debate about art, really think about it.
